WHITLEY GREEN RESCUE EVENT

What a great RESCUE this year! we had 3 days out of the skips, with one arriving at 7am on Friday 10th, and that was the sign for the action! that was to last all over the weekend. The weather was great and there must be some really good Spring cleaned homes and gardens on our estate judging by the amount of rubbish we took this year. Thanks to Rita, Stan, Kevin, Steve, Ken, Eddy and Clodagh, and John Lawrence (our own David Bailey) to name but a few who got involved.

Our grateful thanks go to the dustmen crews who worked so well over the weekend, and thanks to Summreen Sheikh, Chris Thomas and the rest of our volunteers who helped. We also did a COWSEY Clean Up Event with members of Whitley Green and many volunteers helping to make this weekend a really successful RESCUE EVENT 2007
